Batam and Bintan Islands, both part of Indonesia's Riau Archipelago, are about 3-4 hour away via our sail boats. Both islands are now being promoted as the up-and-coming tourist attractions for Singaporeans who want a short getaway. Take the time to enjoy the peacefulness and serenity of sailing using wind power instead of rushing the process as you might be able to gain a lot more by taking things slow. The natural beaches and sceneries there are sure to blow you off, so stop worrying and join us on a three-days-two-night adventure across the Singapore borders.

What to anticipate:

Day 1, from 0900:

Say hi to your crew at Keppel Bay and make yourself at home at the boat which will be with you for the next 3 days. Located 20km (12mi) off Singapore's south coast, it will take 3-4 hours for us to reach Nongsa Marina located at Batam. We will also clear immigration customs while there.

We will then take a break from sailing to enjoy a delicious lunch on shore at the restaurants there.

After lunch, we will then set off to Bintan Island, where we will rest for the night at Banyan Tree, a beautiful resort that sits on the sea front, providing customers with the astonishing view of the clearwater of the South China Sea, where the glittering ocean meets the tropical coastline. We will also feast on some delicacies, such as the fresh seafood platters.

Day 2 - Trikora Beach; Pulau Mapur:

Greet the morning at Bintan. After a light breakfast, we will make a visit to the Trikora Beach. We will stop over at the pontoon, where we can access the beach for some sun-tanning and play around on the white sandy beach. Sit down for some simple lunch at the cafes located near the beach.

We will then sail over to Pulau Mapur, which is a wonderful diving site. You may choose to go for a leisure dive or do some kayaking and stand-up paddling while our boat is there. End the day off with some barbecue food.

Day 3 - Nikoi Island:

Rise and shine, breakfast onboard the boat and we will set sail to Nikoi Island for some additional sight-seeing and water activities. This will be followed by lunch and we will start sailing back to Singapore. After clearing immigration, we will sail back to Marina at Keppel Bay.
